MATTERS OF SCIENCE—Grades K–6
The states of matter are primarily defined by the energy
of the molecules in a substance. This assembly energized your students by taking them on a virtual tour
of the science happening daily at the Cleveland Museum
of Natural History, with each area of research relating to
a specific state of matter. From stately, solid fossils to
energetic, invisible gases representing early stages of
the Universe, each topic area engages students from
the audience to help demonstrate amazing experiments
they CAN try at home!
