Akron Zoo is Free for Upcoming Events

The Akron Zoo is offering multiple free days throughout November to celebrate Election Day, Veterans Appreciation Days and the zoo's new holiday shopping event, Shop-a-Holidays. Free admission is available for Election Day on Nov. 8 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; parking rates apply. Veterans Appreciation Days are Nov. 9-13; and all veterans (past and present) receive free admission. Immediate family members get 50% off admission. This pricing is only available at the zoo ticket counter upon presentation of a valid military ID. The zoo's former holiday shopping event, Trunk Show, has been expanded to Shop-a-Holidays on Nov. 12 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The zoo will be free for all guests, and parking rates apply.
